how to rid oneself of the deeply embedded impressions which result in our actions, is a path we can choose to travel...... it is possible that jealousy is learned in life through fear, fear of loosing or not having something......the fear sits in our deep unconcious and manifests itself in our actions and feelings.........through continuous awareness which we develop in our inner journey, we start to recognise when we are being emotionally "hijacked" by our "fight or flight" response.......hope this makes sense :-)
oh rumi where art thou??? we can only understand from our perspective........yoga nidra practice helps in this process.....check out the site http://www.swamij.com/yoga-nidra.htm
very interesting thought - how does one free oneself of jealousy which is an instinct rather than a learned behaviour?
