In yoga we refer to the unbalanced or unblocked energies as areas in the body, mind and spirit that have developed fear, doubt and insecurities, these manifest as extremism in behavior and can result in physical disease.
Through guided meditation, and by focusing on the chakras, or energy centers of the body, we uncover the fears and doubts.
We practice yoga on the mat, and each asana or shape helps in clearing the blocked energy center. The relaxation after a session of yoga helps one to de-stress, allowing the body to realign with the mind, freeing the spirit. Regular practice of yoga, combined with mindfulness of living life fully in the moment, creates a sense of joy. This is accessible to everyone of us, with no dependency on age, gender or finances. Regular practice of yoga has shown to eliminate anxiety and depression, making the body strong and flexible.
When practiced regularly, the union, or yoga, becomes part of ones' living.
